Tesla Roadster #31
Yes, that’s correct. The 31st car made by Tesla. Hottest car on the road…0-60 in three seconds…more than 160 miles of range (this is at the typical high rates of speed in the California “fast lanes” on round-trip 2 hour commutes most days of the week with plenty of range left when I get home to take my wife to dinner). Charges fully overnight on 220v circuit in the garage.
Beautiful blue color. New tires. Soft removable top (you can get a removable hard top from Tesla). Made in 2008. 75K miles (about half that on the current battery). Minimalist interior. Cloth seats. Definitely some mild signs of wear and tear.
I nearly “bricked” the original battery about 6 years ago (my fault, lost power in my garage and took too long to fix it), so Tesla replaced the battery with a barely used one. It is beginning to show a few percent drop in range (not noticeable on a practical level). I just replaced the Power Electronics Module that went bad after 11 years for $12K (!!!!) but at least that should last another 10 years or more.
‘Sorry, can’t take less than $45K for it (especially after putting another $12K in it). It is incredibly fun to own and drive, and as #31 it has some “collector’s” value. (Just so you know, I am selling it because I am on the waiting list for the Taycan and a Rivian SUV; otherwise I would not be able to part with it.)
